Do you replay thoughts over and over, in your head that sound like...
Negative self talk often originates from the critical statements made by others (most often from our childhoods). Past trauma and negative experiences can write the rules by which we've come to live today.
I ALWAYS..
I CAN'T SAY NO...
I shouldn't have to...
Why can't I just....
I should do more.
They never...
If I don't do it, it won't get done.
I'm not enough.
WE REPEAT WHAT WE DO NOT REPAIR
It's important to work through those difficult experiences so that we don't remain stuck in a cycle of repeating them. We may think that we've gotten "over it" or that "time heals all wounds" but that is not true.
We repeat what we do not repair.
THE
STRONG
ONE
Repair the Pain
If you feel stuck and you're not sure what to do, but you know you have to do something NOW...
If you're the one who helps everyone else..
If you need support but you don't have anyone who can (or will) help you...
If you can't trust those around you to handle your troubles...
IF YOU'RE TIRED OF BEING THE STRONG ONE...
TAKE THE NEXT STEP.
One of the greatest signs of strength, is knowing when to ask for help.
